Last may I weighed 320 lbs , pre diabetic , BP meds and cholesterol meds(310 was my number)
I started off by cutting out fried foods, red meat, fast food and sodas also no alcohol.

I began walking 2 miles a day for 2 months. Then when I was able to jog I added that. I was up to 2 miles a day 7 days a week by August.
I added strength training in August and really saw a difference.
By November I was off all meds and blood sugar had gotten under control.
I then have myself one free meal a week( anything I wanted).
I still work out and run everyday, as a coach it helps to b in shape and be able to move around ,with no issues ,for long periods at a time.
Right now I'm down to 255, and my cholesterol is 170. My goal is to b in the 240's.

I did a similar weight drop in college for football, went from 310 to 225 in a year. My playing weight was 240-245, at 225 I just wasn't strong enough so they got me up to 240-245.

But after I finished playing the weight just packed on bc I stopped being active and ate whatever I saw.
Never again will I allow my body to get out of control, life is to short to be held back by being overweight. And after having 4 knee surgeries ( 3 acl reconstructions) I need to help my body stay healthy.

Good luck to y'all with the weight loss and new healthy eating.
