If you go to Cabelas in Gonzales, go just across the interstate and try Mike Andersons. All seafood is good including the char grilled oysters.

Make sure you have a lot of time set aside for the museum. No point in going if you just rush through looking at the pictures and artifacts. Take the time to enjoy it!

May be a little late, but Burbon House is pretty good to.. Their house dressing is amazing.
