There was only one flock of birds today, from Heberts to Deatonville to Texaco Cut to Turners Bay at the ship channel. Big aszed flock. Had to be a couple thousand birds.
We fished them until they got tired and flew away. Relentless bastids... |
Nice catch guys.
Hope yall had fun. |
Nice job guys. Has the weather started in yet?

Is it true Jordan threw live swrimps with the famous "CLIP ON CORK" even with ya'll working the birds......I guess old habits are hard to break!!:*****::*****:
|
Not today, he was a real fisherman.
He chunked 3 differnt topwaters and some Jr. Sand Eels. I caught my first trout on a Sand Eel, then nothing. I thought he was off his rocker when he started chunking topwater, until he caught one in all them choppy waves. So I started chunking a small Spook. Worked well for me until I lost it. I had to change to another color, but didn't work as good as the bone color. The only live things on the boat was me and Jordan. He was a die hard. Didn't want to go in until we got 30 fishes. |
I'm a true player. Didn't even have any clip on corks. No live swimps. Bombers and skitterwalks. I even threw a buzzbait. Ray said that thing sounds sick when u throw it. Sounded like this....... Voooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom (splash)

Didn't come out too good.
Your lense must have been hazed up with rain water or something... |
I have a bad back. After standing up for so long and fighting the winds and waves, I like to never got up after doing "da squat"...
