My dad and I put a 10' blade on our bayboat and mounted it to the side of the jp like someone said above. We didn't want to drill anymore holes in the boat and the Bob's jp had "knockouts" where to drill. It wasn't hard at all.

The jackplate mount is they way to go. They make a 2 piece braced jackplate mount that is made for the 10 footer. You can use it on the 8 footer,it is very sturdy. The single non braced bracket has some flex to it.

This is on a atlas plate but it mounts up the same on a bobs machine once you drill the holes on the bobs.

Yea but if op has a jackplate there is no reason to pull motor to mount bracket.

I have the same motor and Atlas jackplate on my BJ and this looks like the way to go. I appreciate everyone pitching in to help!

I added the 8' Pro Series II to mine this year and love it. It is lower than the cc grabrail. Baseball, gotta keep it clean though...don't let mud stick to it, it will make that clean boat of yours look bad. Lol

Haha if she is muddy and bloody at the end of the day then it was a good one! That's what power washers are for! Again, I appreciate all the pictures and input from everyone to help me out

Mines mounted to the transom, but it was like that when I bought the boat
