I have enjoyed many night fishing trips from Venice to BL. I use to use a Honda 2000 generator and stand type work lights with 500w halogen bulbs. Technology has allowed me to slim that way down to LED's with one battery and produce more light with no gas generator running. A lot cooler fishing at night, catch plenty of fish when conditions are right, no competition, no sunburn!

Ur right. It's a light that can be anywhere(stern, cc,etc...) as long as you can see it up to 2mi 360* view. Aka the white running light. A light so ppl can see u when ur sitting "on anchor." It's a running light nonetheless but I did word it wrong. Good catch Paul!
