I use boga, then net it just to be safe :D

Have you tried tying your braid straight to boga (no swivel) slow retrieve. Prob catch a lake record.

For trout and reds i use a small fish billy club to knock them out before i flip them into the boat.

i think this site is partially to blame for most of the "fads" that are used... such as boga for everything.... braid for all. everyone thinks it necessary to weigh every 3lb trout they catch, then take a selfie. follow the leader. its bass fishing all over again.
