They were at the first red channel marker on the south side of the pass. They had launched out of the point and I was headed to Intracoastal. I offered to tow them there but they said IC was fine and they would fill up there and just drive back. I dropped them at Shell Morgan and took off. Was wondering if they made it back and when you posted about your old whaler and fuel line problems I started feeling guilty about taking off.

you can look on the tides section on rodnreel and get specific locations and when the tide will fall/rise and when the moon will be overhead or underfoot.....u just have to use a little add/subtract to figure exact moon time....

I can only fish here and there due to small kids and my work being on weekends etc. I found some spots for reds and learning reefs. I don't want to steal your spots more so learn what to look or in singling out specks and their movements in the bay. That's all. Not afraid to put in the time...just wanting to learn.

Yeah, it was obvious the guy felt pretty stupid, I didn't press for details.

I always tell where I fish...no secrets here....when I go I always catch so why not spread the wealth....

two words - caldwell reef

you can see the fish with google earth

if you ever see a guy in a big custom aluminum boat with 'MegaBite' on the side of it ask him where the fish are he is always on them. We got real close to him last week and he told us right where we could go

No bruh but I guess you could use it for that if you sup'd up the motor a little. That is a pole that gives my boat some power. I use it for a bunch of things. Mainly for draggin my grand maw's seine across the Warren Ditch when the Mach-wa-doin's are in heat. She can tell when dat will be from the almanac. My lil cousin got one on the opposite side of his skiff and we just make a loop. When we come together all the fish are in the middle. We throw his step daughter Mildred in the middle and have her pick out all the carp, its easier like that. My uncle got one on his crawfish boat, he use it to move the round bales around his pond but he put a 10 hp brigs on that one. Its good for finding trot lines or gill nets too, that's how I found yours.
