Check the fuse. Took the fuse out cleaned it. Touched the wire str8 to the hot post. Nothing got little faint sizzle noise but no movement in the tab motorAttachment 88963

Check your switch on the dash... Mine failed on my offshore boat....changed and all good...

Take a little piece of wire and "jump" the switch [touch the wire to either side of the switch] to see if this will make the trim tabs move.

My switch had a visual burned area under the gel pack on the bottom. To me a "smoking gun". See wiring diagram. Basically a 12 volt system, current one way up...current other way down....

Got everything checked out some how the power wire was broken. Its working fine now
