The LedLensor H14.2 is $99 at brightguy.com I'll gladly pay 99 not to have to deal with a powercord or a heavy incandescent bulb that draws a lot of amps and puts out a lot of heat.

That light has a ton of uses too, keep it in your truck for general purpose (flat at night), on the way to the duck blind or deer stand, etc...

A hard hat lamp isn't ideal for those scenarios
