I'm in the process of trying to get a bay boat..........so I'll have alot more flexibility on when and where I can fish.

Here in V Bay, the best we can get is to look at wind forecasts for marsh Island tower. This is a location a few miles offshore.

You may try looking at offshore forecasts for big lake.

With the lake being close to the coast it is influenced more by gulf winds. I think the wind models do not accurately represent wind conditions on our coastal areas.
