its $43 a boat, so 21.50 for each of us. blast off is at 5, so being that it's my first tour and your first calc.river tournament, lets kinda be a lil early incase of line to register, and then we can get the rules.

they say if your not in line to blast off you go to end. which it doesnt bother me to be last. so just holler and i'll meet up at parkside.

I thought you said you were covering the entry????? J/K!!!!
I should be there around 3:45. I'll let ya know when I turn off I-10.

I'd be willing to bet there won't be any of that come saturday.

LaAngler 06-02-2009 01:43 PM

oh you'll see some people getting loud saturday, not a good day to cut somebody off

Ducktrickster 06-02-2009 02:17 PM

I get surprised sometimes

Fished the shootout 3 years ago and there was a reef where I'd caught a 5 and a couple 4's a few days earlier. When I arrived on tourney day there was one boat about 250 yards off the spot and that's the only boat we saw. Got a 6th place in the youth there and broke off twice. Once by a confirmed sow the other unidentified. Then caught several 2-3 pounders and didn't even attract a drift through. You just never know. BTW the boat 250 yards off was reviving a 7 that they caught 10 minutes before i arrived.

Ready

Been doing some research on monster trout fishing. So, to get ready for Saturday I bought some corky's, long a's, some sand eels, a few mirrorlures and a baitwell for croakers, shad, and shrimp. Now all I need is to learn how to work them and a few good spots to fish them. Anything else I'm missing?
