Wish meaux's pics would have come out........always wanted pics of boat hitting some waves......Adam and Austin, thanks for coming guys......wish we would have gotten the right bait and gotten on some fish.........next time for sure!!!

You are right LaAngler, I think yak and Tim are being easy on the wave sizes, other than average size. There were some if we were in the valley and they were on the crest, it looked more like 15 or a little better. Lucky for us they were rolling and not breaking and that they stayed that way.

With that said I did enjoy meeting all the guy's that showed up. There were 12 members that was there. Everyone there are great guys and fun to hang with. If any of you guys are willing to go back, I think around mid July I will be ready to try it again.

yak'em-n-stack'em 03-01-2010 10:56 AM

im def willing to go back.

good thing about me, is I respect the water, but if i had to die i wouldnt mind going out with my love

(the seas, not you dink) lol

yak'em-n-stack'em 03-01-2010 10:57 AM

oh and yea, the fact that they were swells made all the difference, if they were breaking waves or shortwaves we wouldnt have gone out

agreed.

i would say the 10 miles back in where i took 2 waves to the face while trying to sleep and almost drowned cuz i was sleeping with my mouth open lol was the least fun ive had in a boat

overall i had a great time even though it was wet and cold:help:

wow sounds like an interesting trip, still wish I could have made it. Next time if the invites there, I'm there. And yak you sure it was the wave that got you wet and not dink? lol

cmdrost 03-01-2010 02:00 PM

Kinda agree with LA that it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Glad all were safe and had a good time.

yak'em-n-stack'em 03-01-2010 02:03 PM

Hahaha. Quote of the trip.

I made that comment on the way out and didn't get a great response with the crew lol. It may have been dink haha

It's written in my last will and testament that i am to be cremated and my ashes are to be spread in the surf at Grand isle.
Wife signed that she agreed and my lil bro has said he'd find the boat.
Life has allways been good , But it's allways better in the surf.

Y'all drink to much , Y'all post to much, Y'all have very loose morals.
