This is too funny. haha!! I don't have a problem admitting I am a big lake pilgrim...rode the mayflower down I-45 to I-10 and haven't pilgrimmaged back yet. Ya'll got me hooked on the lifestyle down here. I am a north texan transplant who just loves to fish.

wood rots thats a fact. bad thing is by the time you notice a failure its already to late. i have read haynies web site 20 times and havent seen anywhere where they say 100% lifetime warranty. to me that would be a big selling point for people who have never heard of a haynie. seems like it should be on their site. and 90% of boats made today use composite not wood. some might use wood in floors and consoles but not structural. that would be the only thing to keep me from buying a haynie. that and they are a fairly new company. and just cause guides are using them doesnt make them the best. im sure they get pretty good deals on any boat just for the advertising aspect of it. they put 500hours on it then get a new in 2 years so they arent really worried about their boats lasting 15 years.
