Looks like the motor is mounted all the way down? That could be part of the problem not getting enough rpm's. Prop shaft needs to be inside the tunnel when trimmed level,not below it. Really sweet boat man.

How hard is it to move the motor up? I would love to get the performance peaked out.

Not hard but you need a engine lift of some sort. If you can't get it done around your area bring it by my house on a weekend and we can knock it out quick. Is it mounted all the way down on the transom? If so it needs to come up for sure. If you can take a pic of the engine and back of the boat with the motor trimmed level.

Here is a pic of one with the engine mounted all the way up. To me it still looks a little low but you would have to run a hyd jackplate to go any higher.You can try different props till your blue in the face but you won't get the right performance if the motor is too low. Very important on a tunnel hull.

This one looks like a different model than yours but the motor height looks right for the tunnel.
