Just bought my first handgun. Already put 50 rounds (winchester white box) through it with no problems. Very fun to shoot. Got it cleaned up now. I averaged 11 out of 15 shots within a 6 inch by 6 inch target @ 7 yards. I think I did okay. I got better with trigger control after each round. I purchased the gun that felt best to me. Final conclusion...9mm doesn't have much recoil at all. I now own a S&W M&P Shield.

Dink 05-31-2013 06:32 PM

Wow.....where'd you find one? Best trigger on the market!

Nasty 05-31-2013 06:51 PM

I need more ammo. Where are the best deals online for 9mm ammo?

You SOB!!! I love you for picking the M&P, but I hate you for buying my Shield!!! If you don't mind me asking, what did she run you?

Wow those are tough to find

$410...I missed calculated on the number of times shot. I actually put 100 rounds through it. I didn't think I shot that many times. This gun is fun to shoot. My only problem is that my right thumb hurts a little today from getting pinched from loading the new magazines. Thinking of getting a speed loader...the new mags were pretty stiff at first.

Matt G 06-01-2013 08:59 AM

Uplula......... I bought one to use in a course last month and that thing saved my thumbs. Several people were begging to use it after the second reload break. It probably loaded over 5,000 rounds that day!

Dink 06-01-2013 09:54 AM

Where did you find a sheild?

Nasty 06-01-2013 10:26 AM

Bullets and Bows

X2 on the uplula!! I did the same thing in a class a couple months back and it saved my thumb as well as a few others.

Nasty 06-01-2013 10:31 AM

I checked out the uplula on youtube. I will be getting me one. Thanks for the suggestion.

Probably not at the range you'll be interested in using Critical Defense at.

For a CCL: 1. Take the class 2. Fingerprints 3. Passport pic 4. What else is needed?

That's about it. Best way is to hand deliver everything to Baton Rouge and get your fingerprints done there. That way you know right away if everything is in order.

X2..... If its a decent drive like it was for me, call a few days ahead and make sure everything is in order. Once you get there the nice ladies behind the counter will make sure you are good to go. This is not the DMV, and these people actually enjoy their jobs and are a pleasure to deal with. They even gave my little boy a sticker and a sucker!

Nasty 06-08-2013 01:44 PM

Put another 150 rounds through the shield with no problems.
