Lmao exactly

No matter what anyone tells you ,here is the truth . Go to gun shops try the guns you are interested in .See how they fit you and how they feel in your hands . A gun that does not fit you or is comfortable will always be junk in your eyes. Remember more money don't always mean better either. I'm a Browning fan ,and a guide who hunts the vast majority of every waterfowl season .I see all of them have issues ,so no gun is perfect or flawless. I can never say it enough ,whatever you pick make sure it fits you .Don't buy just cause it looks cool or was on sale .

Gas operated guns have trouble cycling low brass. All my Benellis cycle 7/8s.

Hopefully we will have some teal to break it in before duck season starts.

Been hunting my camo Sbe. for about 12+ years now. Hunt ducks and doves and whatever else is flying around. Cant say Ive really had any problems with it. Very minimal cleaning, just a lil earl.

OH, AND I PLEAD THE 5TH ON "HANGING THE 4TH" :D

You can talk and say all you want but say in and day out they perform and I can't say the same about competitors bc not one of my buddies hunt with Barretta and they all have way more issues than I've ever ran into

It's like clock work. Must be somethin about that August moon.

I was at academy tonight and shouldered the Browning A5, Maxus and the Vinci, The maxus felt best in my hands of the 3, the vinci was pretty nice but I would have to get used to the foregrip. the A5 felt a little long for my arms. They didn't have any other benellis and I've been interested in the berettas for a while now. Is Shooters having the no interest deal right now?

Buickfinsnfeathers got it everyday. F*** the haters beretta is the way to go. I'm so Barretta life my gun taught me how to bounce a hen

Bdub 08-06-2013 12:13 AM

I've heard a lot of good about the berettas. Seems like the benellis got that yeti complex. I'd rather shoot both then make up my mind.

How do people hunt everyday of the season? Don't you work? I'm glad to make 15 hunts a year between both Teal and Big Duck. I also enjoy deer hunting, fishing and my family. I could understand a guide being in a blind every day but how many guides get to shoot?

I shoot a Benelli and have no problem with it, but I love my wifes Beretta way better. Maybe one day I'll buy a $2,000 gun for the 6 days a year I hunt :shaking:

Yes it should be. Give them a call. But it's usually whole month of August.

As a guide I hunted 54 of 60 days last year ,and we get to shoot with clients . Generally they get first shot then we shoot to finish up .

I got a cordoba, been having it since '04 and mainly only use it shooting skeet and dove hunting... i freaking love it.

I hunted with a browning gold for like 11 years, had a few hiccups but sent back to factory for new guts and fires everytime now.

hunted 45+ days with a beretta a400 past two years and it works fine, i just dont like the way it shoulders points for me.. there are nothing wrong with any of these guns now days it is all preference..

thats why i will be purchasing a SBE2 in the near future ;)

The gun is worth every penny at regular price. Benelli can't hold a candle to the durability of beretta. To get the same quality from a Benelli(still kicks worse) that you get out of that stock beretta, you'll have to buy the benelli sbe2 waterfowl edition at the very low cost of $2800. And again it's still gonna kick more than the beretta

I Love my Benelli Super Vinci. I had a SBE2 and loved it except it wasn't camo. To say that Beretta is just so much better and Benelli is trash is a little outlandish. I don't know where you're looking at prices but I paid 1569 for the super Vinci and around the same for the sbe2. One more thing, if Beretta is Soooooo much better, why does Tom Knapp shoot Benelli?

I usually hunt Friday evenings when I get to the camp, Saturday morning and sunday morning. I plan to take some days off this year to make some hunts during the week. I think the only people that hunt every day are guides or people that take time off to do it. Of course if I lived closer to where I hunt I would be showing up late for work almost every day haha

AubreyLaHaye458 08-06-2013 11:34 AM

I probably hunted 45 days last year plus every day of teal season. Perks of being a college student and scheduling your own classes! ;)

Pahahaaa. Isn't that the only way to live? It's crazy how easy it is to start a riot. I don't shoot a Barretta I shoot a Charles daly! Best gun on market hands down. Benelli and Barretta equals junk

I use my benelli as a marsh anchor during the off season, never cleaned it and shoots flawless

meaux fishing 08-06-2013 12:53 PM

I stick my SBE2 in the mud barrel first and use it as a seat in between groups of ducks coming in. never had a single problem with it. Ive only cleaned it once in the 5 or so years i've owned it, and that was with salt water

Well u see the problem lies where it always did. When you believe in something you will stand behind it and you will defend its honor. Well, when you get to the point of retarded responses its sometimes easier to play along then to argue. My first post was true and ill take time out of my "busy" schedule to show this to the world thru YouTube. Bdub... If you wanna see this for yourself pm me. Brand new out of box sb II will not cycle anything but drylocks. It's left handed. He would sell it for cheap if anyone wants it. He bought a maxxus the other day because he hates that gun so much. I've really never had any issues with my "Charles daly" which really is a Baretta extrema II.

I'm a benilli guy but I have seen this gun In question. I'm also a ford guy and have seen some of them just can't get right. They build lemons. All shapes sizes and brands. I kill all my ducks with a sling shot.

Oh not so, if the extractor breaks no shell will be ejected. Therefore it actually isn't cycling a round . I have seen it many times in the first Mossberg 3.5 pumps that came out .

I bought a 870 supermag the day they came out to the public. It would not eject 3.5's. Had to dig out the spent hull with a pocket knife. Sold that junk for bout half what I paid for it, used the money to buy my Nova. Best shotgun out there IMO. It does, has, and will CYCLE EVERY TIME!! I've honestly run at least 20 cases through that gun. No Problem....ever
