Depends on what size u have. If it's a 10ft. then if just the spike is in the water and the color portion is parallel to the water then your 5 ft deep. Then Gauge it as you go Down from there.
Or read your gps depth

You can adjust the up and down sensitivity depending on the type of bottom your sticking in and just double tap down and it will stop itself.

That is the reason the Talon gets some of its bad rap----HOOK UP THE GREEN WIRE, it's there for a reason. Any body?
