Dude, if you want to impress her - take this advice!

PHARES -Ambassador @ Johnston St. , right before Lafayette Shooters. Order the flame grilled oysters and the house wine. She will rock your world and that is just the appetizer.

They had some good names thrown at you, but this will be perfect for a concert night!

Good advice. This is where I made my reservations for Vday. 2 dz raw and 2 dz fire roasted and thats all she wrote.

Thats my favorite thing at Bone fish.

My wife is obsessed with Zeas but i dont like anything there but the duck epmanadas. My wife gets that chicken shwarma crud and it smells like AZZZZZZZ, but all the cosmos she drinks makes up for it !

Zea's has a great New York strip as well...

Copeland's has a good filet also. With all the cold weather we've been having, you can't find a better seafood gumbo than Don's Seafood. Just the right consistency and has that wonderful roux flavor!

goldenrod 02-10-2011 01:58 PM

waffle house... all star special with a pecan waffle

The corner panrty which is a little hole in the wall grocery store behind Lafayette HS close to eraste landry has some killa chicken and sausage gumbo.

they are delicious.. thai ribs are good, and the roasted chicken, I think its called sweet an spicy or something like that

Ray 02-10-2011 04:46 PM

I liked them Thai ribs also.

To me, all of Copelands steaks are good, but the Fillet is bestest. I hated when it closed down over here.

gasdad 02-10-2011 06:24 PM

Riverside Inn for seafood. Many other places mentioned are great, just depends what your preference is. Go to a seafood place for seafood and a steak place for steaks. Have not been to a restaurant in Laf that does both well.
