A-Speck charters owned/operated by Capt. Norman Rester is a good service. He works hard and is a great guy. Also, any of the others listed above.

I wouldn't book a charter on Big Lake unless I was wantin' a shot at a big fish. I did it once just to say I did it and it was a blast...a two-day trip with Erik Rue's guide. Too many eatin'-size fish a whole lot closer to home. I went to south Texas for the same reason but that turned out to be a disaster with one of the biggest butt holes I've ever had the displeasure of meeting.

I fished with capt. Norm also. He's a great guy and a great guide also.

All of the guides listed are good. I echo the comments about Jeff and Mary. I would also add Bruce Baugh to the list of guides that will work hard for you.
