My wife didn't like me going hunting until after we got married. Before the wedding, she acted like she didn't care. But she got over it.
Same with fishing, so I go when she is working. Except for a few Saturdays, when Jordan talked me into going.

29 years 4 months

Been married 29 years and 4 months. Had some hard times and wondered if we were going to make it. Had a whole lot more good than bad. Raised 2 kids. One married with a 10 month old son and the other at Oklahoma State. Its been great. Mine lets me hunt, and fish almost anytime. Might just be to get rid of me for a while. LOL:spineyes::spineyes::cry:

not married.. but been with mine for 3.5 years... she used to hate the sound of me going fishing and going with me.. now she don't mind too much(still rarely comes) but, she even helps me clean my fish now lol.. Think I got a good one

Always thought I'd find a girl who'd love the sport as much as me, but it looks like most of the guys here, didnt do that either

Not married yet..but i'll speak for my dad--- married 21 years.... she loves to fish, she'll come hunt..Aslong as I've been around i have never heard her complain about us hunting/fishing

Wife an I have been together 10 yrs now. As some one stated earlier communication is key ,ya got to be able to talk out your problems. My wife and I both have good jobs so we decided to keep our money seperate. I pay half the bills she pays half. As long as i can afford the toys she doesn't complain. And vice versa. My wife loves to fish so the only problem i have is finding the time to go.

She usually catches most of the fish. and helps clean em too.
I'm a lucky man ...SK

I've been married 5 years now. Communication is definitely the biggest thing to master. Our biggest problem is finding time to do things together. Being married is the easy part, raising kids and finding time to still be married is the hard part. Me and the wife may go on 5 or 6 actual dates without the kids a year.

As far as the finding time to hunt and the fish mine fusses me because we don't go enough.

BIGJ 09-11-2009 05:45 PM

Been married for ten years.
We had a rocky start but worked through it and here we are 10 years later, still together.

BossHog 09-11-2009 05:53 PM

Man all this talk about marriage, I may have to lay off this site for a while lol
