You got me! But, I did have an 8 pounder, and 10 trout over 5 lbs. last week. I had a couple from Arkansas, and they needed all the help they could get. And I got pics in case y'all want em.

I don't believe that..his people might of wanted live shrimp but I know for a fact with out even calling him he did not throw a live shrimp ....

Will"E"Fish 05-07-2012 07:35 AM

Shrimpks is easy to obtain .U just gotta pay to play. Three inch croaker are also thick in the mouth of cut 's on east bank of Big Lake. Clarity of water has less affect on fish catching with most live bait. So here it is when and if it is peer factor in how u catch fish use your choice of artifical. If not Get about 4 clicker reel's set up's and couple live well's full of live bait and post up on your favorite spot and wait for that famous sound of the clicker going off and ___?___

Fish on!!!!

W read the statement again...I said "he had his people" throwing shrimp....Never said a word abt Josh himself putting a shrimp on.....sometimes conditions and client's abilities dictate what has to take place to give folks the best opportunity to catch fish. As guides, we don't get to hand pick who gets in our boats....and I aint hearin "you can teach'em how to fish" esp when you first have to teach them "how to" 1. hold the rod 2.cast the rod 3.retrieve the bait....some folks have never fished a day in their life. Patience and a positive attitude with clueless people are the main "skills" you better have if your in my line of work.:work:

Your right some can't fish...but I see guides using shrimp and sunrise before and never even trying to teach ...

Just my opinion and I enjoy fishing too much to have someone throw live shrimp because its easy.....ill give it hell trying artificial then if they really want to try I would make that my last option
