Yep. Duramax is a good one too but, the mileage isn't the same. Inline 6 will always be tough to beat.

Yeah those Cummins engines are tough, its just the transmission bolted too it and everything else around them that ain't worth a crap.

got no complaints about mine but it is a farm truck so it is a no frills version. hand crank windows, manual locks and rubber floor mats. but it can pull a 24ft gooseneck with over 10,000lbs of cattle like there is nothing back there

I won't argue that they will haul their butts off, but most of the guys I know that have them have had lots of trouble out of their transmissions once they get over 100,000 miles and a buddy of mine that has a lawn care and bush hogging company that pulls a trailer daily has had to replace his trans at 70,000 miles as well as power window motors and even rusting. He does say though that he will continue to buy Dodges until someone else comes out with a stronger diesel.

Hey W, why not give a fellow Salty Cajun a shot at your business? Do you live in or near Jennings? If so, I don't want to take anything away from the Oustalets (good people). I'm also not interested in exploiting this website to "sell" to anyone... that would get annoying, fast. I just figured I would drop a line in case I can help in any way. Thanks to everyone who is supporting Ford right now. The product is second to none.

I appreciate that, but I'm from Jennings and the Oustalets have been good to my family over 3 decades ....
|
Btw...just a little P.S.
Dodge are garbage ....pure junk on 4wheels....that's why they are cheap ....

I can appreciate that, W. Stop by for an oil change anytime. Coffee and fish stories are on the house.

The "GREAT W" has spoken. Until he buys Dodge or his family political friend buys one it's junk.
