you could go to his clinic in birmingham, but he doesnt do surgeries anymore unless your a big leaguer.. his clinic is the best tho .. he did my tommy johns right before he stopped doing surgeries, and then his shoulder guy jeff dugas did my rotator cuff and labrum.. there clinic is top notch.. now on the cross fit .. ill put it the way that my pt says it.. he says "i love cross fit.. a bunch of people trying to do exercises and lifts they have no business doing.. gives me more business then I ever had" ...i think cross fit has a great model, but there are certain things that shouldnt be done in the cross fit competition format.. like snatch. good stuff over all tho

Agree 100% on J Andrews 1st class guy and world class surgeon

And I agree 50% with your Crossfit analysis there are def people who try to go to big to early....... With correct form and practice injuries can be avoided

I'm 44 years old. I lift weights and walk at least 4 days a week, often 5 or 6. My problem is that I have a bulging disc in my lower back. I am careful to stay away from risky lifts and high impact activities. Cross Fit interests me, but I am concerned with its high impact exercises. Am I correct in this assessment?
