^^^ 100% idiot. Signing a ticket is not a plea of guilt, its your right to appear before a judge to plea your case or pay the fine. If you decide to be an *** and not sign,the officer has the right to tow your car until court date.

W. there is an easy solution to you getting pulled over 6 times.... Wear your seatbelt it's that easy.

Seat belt law is stupid ... You can have a school bus with 50 kids and no seat belt but I have to wear mine ...NoT

If you have a clean driving record and have not been placed on the Article 894 Traffic Program before, you can call 985-873-6500 and ask for the program. Your record will be checked for all violations.

You basically pay a slightly higher fine, and then your ticket is placed in holding for 6 months. If you have no other violations in the 6 months, it does not go on your record.

I'm not sure, but the ticket may even be canceled at the end of 6 months. You STILL pay the money, but not the penalty of having it on your record.

Tell us what you find out.

I agree, I've also gone to court over some and talked to a traffic prosecutor before hand and had the option of paying a non moving violation instead of going to court and paying court cost + ticket if you lose! and the non moving is usually $20 cheaper, they just want your $$$! now as far as they saying you went 70+ in a 50! you might not have the option of not going to court if it is 20mph over!

Bottom line is...

If your a cop your going to act the part of I'm the BOSS do as I say part

Fact is...No.cop can prove you had your seltbelt off or on !

And thatz a fact JACK !! I pay for that seat belt and I will wear or not wear as I want...... Hell 3 trucks ago I cut the sucker out because it keep hanging me up every time I would get out ...
