I was told on these school board sections you get all the rights hunting, fishing
Shrimping, crabbing, alligators. Heard some sections have very valuable crabbing and shrimping and you are able to recoup a lot of money |

The crabbing and crawfishing does not go with the hunting leases. You must negotiate a separate contract for aquaculture or agriculture. |

The $55k lease has some crab income on it. I was told a substantial amount to pay the lease.
One of the $30k leases in West Hackberry has crawfish income to other is just hunting. |

55k for a section with 4 blinds ain't terrible. You can pick out the best blind and sublease the 3 others for 15k a piece (plenty of suckers with deep pockets) and then you are out of pocket 10k for the best blind. If your blind isn't the best one that year then trade with the best blind or kick them out so you can have the best blind. That's what has been happening lately anyways. Some people end up subleasing and essentially getting their blind for free or very reduced rate

I don't see many people leasing a marsh blind for 15k

That 55k lease has a separate commercial crab lease. 55k just for the recreational rights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Guys with more money than sense paying these amounts!! I guess it's the 'chic' thing to tell your rich buddies you have a duck lease? That and all the 'outfitters' leasing up everythhing they can get their hands on. Good luck..
