I see a nice Shearwater boat with a big Merc. that goes out of Heberts now and then.

Yeah the shearwater x2200 is a sweet boat,its a flats boat with a pad with a inside like there bay boats.

shearwater is def a good looking rig. I am done looking though - as long as I can sell mine I am getting a Haynie. Have heard too many good things about Haynies and Chris' Marine...

Tru Dat....I have a 1970 boston whaler 17' that the previous owner had alot of custom fiberglass work done. I plan on using this boat for a LONG time. It's nice to have the nice boats,but there too damn expensive and you worry about messing it up instead of fishin

I would love to get a nice fancy boat, but I will not be ready for that purchase until I own a home and my student loans are paid off. Until then I can tag along with fishing buddies.

not that i am a speed junkie, but i wouldn't be surprised if my new rig pushes 70 or more. should be a couple mph faster than "w" due to pushing some weight to the rear, and the prosx will add @ 5mph more.

will probably kill myself on the first run.
