Is it a 2010 model?

I dont understand why they designed the front side hatches to open toward the inside of the boat??

alphaman 08-09-2013 02:57 PM

I was told, and from experience, it makes it easier to load fishing poles, gear etc. From the side while boat is on the trailer. I like it that way.

I have a 2104 frontier. Once im on the water I take the poles out and put them in pole holders on the console. I dont really use the side compartment until it's time to store the poles again.

Also if you have things on the hatches that open outward and forget to take them off before opening, your items wont fly into the water..

PUREBAY2200 08-11-2013 03:19 PM

Are these last 2 posts serious????

PUREBAY2200 08-11-2013 07:08 PM

I can't believe that a boat company would design a boat hatch with the scheme of "ease of access loading rods and gear from outside boat"

Just can't believe that.

I'm not the boat engineer so I have no clue, don't care to figure it out.
Just stating that ur answer is absurd; and if someone told u that they got a great laugh when u walked away believing them.

PUREBAY2200 08-11-2013 07:29 PM

Maybe it's easier for YOU to load stuff in; but it sure as hell wasn't built & designed with that specific purpose in mind.

No boat has even been designed with ease of loading from the ground in mind
Lmao
"Come on man"

I think your answer is more absurd than mine being that 1 you have no clue. lol 2 you dont have a boat that has hatches that open towards the inside. 3 im not offended at all. Thats your opinion. This is what we do on this site. High 5 its all good Lmao.

i think it has something to do with common sence.
im glad I dont have to climb in and out my boat just to store rods in the rod locker. That is all :D

PUREBAY2200 08-11-2013 07:34 PM

U keep ur rods in the boat 24/7
U realize that the heat and humidity will Hurt the rods and reels not to mention the fishing line?

I made the mistake and left a g loomis rod in my boat for a week..... Rod went from green to white/greenish
Plus ur askin to get stuff stolen.
