Bassyakr they hate this river. Some are doing good and keeping a closed lip, but the ones I'm talking to are saying this is the toughest body they've fished.

No this is right next to fools house...the boat was lost on what I would like to think of the worst frogging trip known to mankind.

Fine by me.. Ill be at a Toledo tournament. Taylor's bayou was virtually unheard of except by locals until this tournament.. Now it's known as a damn gold mine. On a side note, I fish all the areas the pros have been hitting. So I guess I'm doing something partially right

My question is why are we seeing pros at 210 and prien park launch. Are they running to the Intercostal canal to head elsewhere. I saw one today leaving that area.

Halfway run to the basin. Someone will catch 15 pound out of the basin and only fish for 45 minutes.

You think they going to run from Orange TX to the Atchafalaya Basin? That's a hellified run.

I would think some will run to basin.

I seriously doubt that....your talkin close to 500 miles round trip. They would have to run all the way to the wax to get in the basin from the intracoastal.

That would be a little over 7hrs running at 70mph:eek:

I've heard lower units are catching hell...up to like 9 boats out...

Blastoff at safe light weigh in at 3:00....not possible

That is what happens when you run 75mph in areas full of debris you can't see.

Not possible for the trip to the basin. Lake author, yes. They will be pushing weigh in back a little, which will be decided at meeting tonight.

The 210 ones are hitting Bayou Dinde and contraband, and running north.

I figured some would be hittin bayou dinde. These waters are dangerous. Especially with all the trash from the recent high waters. The intracoastal is one place I wouldn't wanna do 80 mph.

I almost died doin 40 down the intracoastal. If I woulda been doin 80 they would prolly still be looking for bodies.
