The booms won't do much good if the winds don't die down.
I saw a buttload of unconnected boom all along the bank in East Bay on Tuesday.

I agree,but it will slow it down some. :cry: I was hopeful the oil would not reach my home waters. Big lake from here on out....let the madhouse potlicking begin.

I just hope we dont get any hurricanes this year,that could get really nasty. Hey Catdaddy,did you deplete the shrimp population before the oil hits? :)

Fishinpox...we gonna hit timbalier bay area depending on wind. Might go fornation or backside grande isle. Everything depends on wind . They opened most of our area back up .

Interview on the radio today, fella said no booms in v-bay area anytime soon
