I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that!!

I like to catch large trout. My largest 7.6lb came off of atificial. I like to use live bait to find my fish, if the conditions allow, I will switch to plastic. All and all i catch more big trout on live bait, but its all in where your fishing and what the trout wants.

I can recall fishing live bait in big lake 5 times.

I love to fish plastics. Grew up bass fishing and never really used live bait. I don't care if I only catch a few, but knowing I tricked a trout, red, flounder, bass etc with plastic is a good feeling.

I will admit soaking a 4" threadfin shad on lake texoma or tawakoni for stripers is fun, and big gizzard shad or perch for big blue cats and flatheads.

Ill drown the pizz out of live bait if it catches fish. Most people who complain about LB fisherman will shoot a deer over a big ol pile of corn or stick a spinner in their decoy spread. I consider myself the 2nd best fisherman on big lake, cuz all them other ones (W) are the best!

To each his own and whatever it takes to catch. My uncle and grandfather first took me fishing, they fished mostly fresh dead shrimp on the bottom for reds and flounder. Trout were slimy, wormy fish that you just didn't eat. I later learned to fish artificials and cut the worms out of trout but I still occasionally enjoy soaking a live croaker or mullet. For the SC tournament, will live bait be allowed? How about wade fishing?

Tell these guys to drop all their fish off at my house then. :)
