They seem to be lower quality than the regular ss jr. They also have different packaging than the ss jr. you buy at academy or wherever. Kinda reminds me of the cheap bombers at wal mart.

Yep hooks and split rings are junk after I replaced everything came out to about 3.50 still cheaper than the real ones hopefully the body's are the same and they float right

They float the same it seems. You know which ones to tie on when the toothy critters move in.

They do float and walk the same as the premium ones side by side. They caught fish last weekend as well.

Well, managed one bone colored one from the Wally world on Nelson. Been cleaned put, but I picked up a few bomber lures as well.

I wonder if, since they price match, Academy would honor the Walmart price and we could get some of the better colors that Academy has. ( Clown, Blue Chrome, and Bone Chrome to name a few)

Hmmmm......I dont know, didn't someone say they were a lower quality, as far as hooks and such. Maybe they would say its a different product?

Even all of Wally worlds spoon jrs aren't marked down.

It's worth a shot, I would just show Academy the reciept from Walmart and see what they'll do, you never know.

I've bought a total of 163 WalMart Spook Jr.'s......50 from Meaux and the rest from a couple buds in Taxes. Got 63 from Rockport for $1.88 ea.

Wallmart on Louetta and I-45 has some spooks left @ $2.50 each. I took a dozen of various colors last Saturday-- agreat deal.
