I was at billys yesterday and the sign was a sign the same as the OP. Lost dog sign, not a found dog poster.

Yea it is a dead end I just got off the phone with Raymond one of the owners. They did find a dog but it wasn't Brett's. They returned it to its owner. The dog had missing In the marsh for 2 weeks. This is becoming way to common. Herohunts lost his dog goose hunting in thornwell today off Lyons rd. if anybody spots a golden retriever pm him. He just picked her up from the trainer Thursday! It was only her second hunt.

No one said it was a bad idea. Again, hind sight is 20-20. I'm sure quite a few guys will be buying tracking collars.

- But I still don't use a GPS collar. I figure it was a rarity and I'll pay extra attention next time -

- Out of the thousands of hunting dogs in the field during the 60 day season, how many actually get lost? The percentage is infintesimily(sp) low -

above quotes from the two dog experts.

Well, when it happens to you it makes you wish your dog had a GPS collar.
