We're getting wet but nothing like you guys. I pray everyone makes it through and doesn't loose their property. I can't do much from here but if more boats are needed for helping people I will gladly bring mine. I may not be able to stay but I don't mind leaving it in your care if it will help. I'll come get it when not needed. PM or text 318 308 6709. John

We have been in our house for 35 years and have never had water in the street more than an hour. I told my wife when we moved here that if we ever flooded all of Baton Rouge would be flooded. I was dead on. Yesterday at 3 pm i had a little water along the back fence which is normal for heavy rain. By 5 pm i had a foot of water in the house. If it wasn't on a shelf or table or hanging in a closet we lost it. During the night the toilet and tub backed up . water should be out by Tuesday and then the fun starts. #FLOODLIVESMATTER

Sorry to here that. So far I am good in Prairieville. The subdivision next to me an older one flooded. Water was going over the road thru it (Hwy 929) all day. Water came over to my subdivision and started to go into 4-5 storm drains early this morning but never got worse. As of now, the water has stopped draining to all of them. My A hole started to pucker up this morning even though I have flood insursnce when the water enterned the side of my subdivision (quail creek). A lot of people got flooded since SAT.

theres a house for rent right down the road from me in Carencro. Approx 2k square foot, I'd guess 3/2 if its similar to mine. It looks a little bigger though. Subdivision is pinnacle point. I enjoy living there. far from you, but figured I'd say something

Do you know if it's clear from Kaplan to Lake Charles on 14? My boss needs to travel to Lake Charles tomorrow to move his daughter into her dorm. His other plan is to take 82 to Creole and back up 27.

Not sure what is going to happen with 14 in Gueydan but I believe the water is still high by the oasis between Abbeville and Nunez. May end up shut down in gueydan or lake author with it rising like it is...
