Met him at academy in grapevine Texas. Was there one night signing autographs. That was back in 2004 of 2005. Real nice guy.

How does that basstrac work? I've never done it.

papap 03-13-2013 07:50 PM

Just go to the bassmaster website. You can either track all of them or just pick the ones you want to follow.

I would love to see the look on some of these guys face when they hook into a red fish and think they got a big bass then have that sucker pop up....

Yep.....I read on bassmaster.com that they have been catching redfish. The guys that have zero experience in the brackish waters will likely waste time fishing areas bass don't live. Very unique tournament curious to see the outcome.

huntin fool 03-14-2013 08:19 AM

Following Poche and paluniak.. That's my two picks. Watched em in practice and they just hit the area that they need to be in

Just watched a vid with paluniak said he only caught 1 keeper in 3 days of practice. Every day is different though no doubt.

drpuldo 03-14-2013 08:23 AM

Read that Tietje blew his motor.

Top Dawg 03-14-2013 08:23 AM

If this event has any semblance of a local favorite it's Dennis Tietje. He lives nearby on Toledo Bend. We just learned he blew out his motor, less than an hour from takeoff. He was the second angler to take off this morning.
This will be a setback for Tietje, but because the fishing is expected to be slow, we expect Tietje will have time to get back in the game.

I wonder if he has a second boat?
