Hd= flat bottom with a slite v in the front.
Hyperlift= bass boat hull. The boat rises and rides on a pad like a bass boat. It also has a v in the front. The hyperlift will ride quite well in chop. I have never ridden in a hd, but hear they are terrible in chop.

Get a yellowfin and be done with it. It's the best handling best riding boat I have ever been in. Second is champion. The faster you go the more stable the hull is. Its amazing.

I have a 19' hyperlift with a 200hp that runs 60mph loaded with gear and two guys or will do 70+ with lite load

I have a HD 20. love it butt it is a rough ride in chop. I just pick my days for open water. July and August on BL with no wind it don't matter what u have.

I have an 08 HD 20 ft Bay.....true, its not the smoothest ride,but it definately gets the job done. Yamaha 115 4 stroke that sips gas. Perfect for fresh or saltwater. Im happy with it.:work:

Mine with 3 people and gear..47 to 50....i have a 19" power tech 3 blade prop.

I have a 175, but hear the 150 4 stroke yamaha will hit 53 with light gear. My 175 hit 56 @ 5900 RPM with 2 guys and full fishing gear.

My X21b (hyperlift) with a 150 yamaha 2 stroke does 50 bare and 40 loaded. I like it a lot.
