Looks like that Flare Boom could make it pretty hot on the deck and in the Derrick , PM me if your company is interested in a solution.

It does get warm but we utilize a special tip and inject water into the flame. It still gets warm but not as bad as it does without the water. Without the water it's pretty terrible. Some places we have to split the flare to multiple flare locations, inject water, use a special tip AND extend the flare away on it's on little jacket.
