I get 10 mpg with my v6 tacoma pulling my 24ft triton 75mph. If I stay at regular hwy speeds, I get 12-13. I get 20-21mpg average not puling a load, mostly highway driving.

What do you get going up the I10 or I210 bridge here in town?

speck cc 04-25-2014 01:47 PM

Tundra has more back seat room than ford or chev, lol... ok, i'm done tooting for tundra

alphaman 04-25-2014 01:52 PM

I went for a lil ride in F150 5.0 with my frontier on the back. I like how it the towed the boat plenty power. Didnt strain, well I didnt have 50 gallons of gas in it either but it did pretty good getting on the interstate etc. The ride is comfortable with or with out the boat.
If I choose this truck, I feel I would be satisfied the 5.0

I was gonna start looking for trucks at the end of this year, but I think I'm gonna wait for the 2016 tundra with the cummins

He isn't getting that period, that's his average over a very long period whuc includes light driving. Reset it at that speed then take the pic...

You could coast down a bridge and rest it and take a pic, then tell everyone you get 60 MPG. Lmao

I got 28.5 mpg on my GMC 8 miles after resetting yesterday on my way turkey hunting. ;)

sparkyc4 04-28-2014 09:29 PM

I last reset it 4500 miles ago, I hit it after my oil changes. I don't drive light, tried it once though :)

I drive to Larose and Gulfport a lot for work. Search my posts and you'll see it used to be 14.2, but I installed new 33'' A/T II's and my mileage has come up.

jpeff31787 04-29-2014 06:43 AM

I got 26mpg in my ecoboost from verot to north gate mall lol

Interstate I've been getting 16-19mpg depending on speed. With my 16' aluminum boat at 70, I'll get 13.5-15mpg depending on wind. With my 19' nautic star... I don't even want to talk about it... 10mpg@70, if I drop down to 62 though it bumps up pretty good.
