thank you for clearing that up its all about fun and fishing and not getting to serious. be kind to one another. if your are a guide I commend you on doing something you enjoy doing. but please don't make fun of someone who wants to learn there is plenty of fish and lake for everyone. I promise you, that you will gain more respect and recommendations towards you and your service by being kind to others, in no way am I asking you to share everything you have learned just through them a bone.

I saw this thread and because am planning to fish Lake Calcasieu this year thought I would try to pick out a guide. I sent a couple PMs, but no response. Im looking for a "professional" guide that knows how to get on fish, reasonably priced, is willing to share some fishing techniques (yes, secrets) and doesn't bash his competitors. Will be base out of Lake Charles or some RV park south of there. Who fits the bill?

If you are one of the guides on here who regularly bashes competitors, newbies, up-starts, or overall has a negative attitute, please do not embarrass yourself by replying.

Thanks, and PMs are fine.

I agree with you 100% there are some that do just avoid the ones that bash others.

Foghorn Leghorn. I keep my feathers numbered. And what lake are you talking about? Big Lake? I have heard of it but never been there. I hear they have a bunch of guides out there but only the true Pro's run Nautic Stars and Haynees' with Mercs. So if you don't have one you may want to get one. It's important to look like you at least know what you're doing if you want to make it.

Guys Ive been hired by pro guide service as the executive marketing director and boy do I have a sweet deal for you.

All you have to do is type a valid credit card number, cvv code, and expiration date on this thread and you could win 50% off trip with 100% chance of disappointment. Better act fast as only the first 50 people to comment will be entered to win.
