wood boat is a wood boat no matter how much glass you put around it, its still wood. it will rot eventually. does the lifetime warranty stay with the boat or does it end after the original owner sells? doesnt say anything about lifetime warranty on their website. seems like that would be a big selling point for a wood boat dont know why they wouldnt put it on their site??

You will never see "all the top guides" on Lake Pontchartrain and Breton Sound using Haynie boats. Big difference in Big Lake and Breton Sound.

When did Erik Rue and Jeff Poe start runnin' Haynies?

We will have 4 at Rod and Gun this season. One sold his blackjack to buy a Haynie. He claims it to be the best thing he has ever done.

boatdriver 03-25-2011 07:46 PM

W, they just wanna buy a Hayine, but they are scared. We'll keep our boats.

So, it's merely another one of your predictions...since it hasn't happened. Are you also predicting that Breton Sound will be overrun with guides fishing Haynie boats?

Once they get down that away..and they find out you can add aT-TOP to them...They will catch on fast..... That Cat is one bad dude....I could see some guides ripping 60mph offshore....with a T-TOP for sure

Im sure Chris can make a LAKE P.........T-TOP special...Even put a custom CHINK Size live well.....with a separate one for skrimps...

boatdriver 03-25-2011 07:57 PM

Ok, here is a tidbit. All of those 23 Kenners are full of non glassed in wood. According to Max Ohmstede, that does fiberglass work for a living, claims it to be the best boat ever built. We still have one in our fleet that is a 97 model. And another boat by Bill Kenner, the Frontier, also has wood.
