Could you imagine if other countries had this sentiment towards us?

I've traveled the world, and so do a lot of folks that bring large amounts of money back into the crap pot towns y'all live in. And, if it weren't for foreign people being tolerant of our arrogant American asses, we would never be successful over there. I don't know a single American person speaking an Asian language, yet we go over there and expect everyone to cater to us. And they do.

This is a global generation, this is a country founded on immigration.

LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL, not just your entitled white ***

FREEDOM OF SPEECH, people are free to speak however they feel. There is no asterix that says *as long as it's in southern english*

Think about it

Conservatives holding true to our founding principles are the only reason this country didn't collapse decades ago. But the liberal communists can rest easy knowing thier work is nearly done, the tipping point has been reached and nothing can stop them now. Stick out your chest and be proud America, we are witnessing the fall of the Roman Empire

Yep, it's hard to believe how blind so many peeps are to the end of society as we know it. I've been to many countries and see how similar we are becoming to these 2nd and 3rd world places..

Goooh 02-08-2014 04:36 PM

Our founding principals were based on religious equality, freedom of speech, and escaping the persecution of our ruler.

I proudly stick out my chest and salute the flag, and so do my children. They also know that we are all people, and we are all different and equal under the same creator.

THAT's AMERICA

The America most on here describe is one that eliminates all feeling of offensiveness. Someone speaks another language and it offends you. Someone has a differing opinion or religious belief and it offends you. Sound familiar? Sounds pretty liberal to me.

Speaking just for me, but the end of society as we know it because:

We are now a nation without even the slightest generally agreed apoun and accepted values moral or beliefs. No right or wrong any more, do whatever you feel like

The value of hard is no longer appreciated, sloth is encouraged and sanctioned by the government.

The value of family is no longer appreciated and openly ridiculed in society. This is the glue that holds our society together.

Free market capitalism and the Christian work ethic built this country. Elected officials in our highest offices are now openly hostile toward these principles

We are being systematically scrubbed of our national identity as Americans at every turn and being nudged toward a more global identity. One world government so the wealth can be shared.

When the government takes 45 to 50% of the fruits of your labor to give to those unwilling to work, and over half the citizens of this country are ok with that.

I could go on for days about this, I'm sorry for the rant, but I am bored today. :)

While I agree with most of your points, and am well aware of a "one world push", I whole heartedly doubt coke is influenced by the illuminati to further a one world system.... That's what this debate is about, and I personally liked the fact that the commercial had our nations song being sung in various languages.

If they had recited the Koran, sang Iran's national anthem, and closed it with Kim Jong Un taking a big swig in the coke ad, the disgust and hatred would make sense .

Pat Babaz 02-08-2014 06:27 PM

Coke ran the ad hoping to boost sales, making money is thier only agenda and thats fine... thats what a company is supposed to do. But they took a traditionaly patriotic song that has stirred national pride for decades and presented it in a way that was more global than Amercian. I see the backlash as a reasonable response to the singing of one of this countries most cherished songs in a most unconventional way. There are just some things you just shouldn't mess with and evidentally this song is one of those things. I think if they would have been singing "I'd like to buy the world a coke" it would have went over alot better. LOL

Clampy 02-08-2014 06:37 PM

Lady who wrote that song was a lesbian. Fun fact.

Prolly so. Enough to make a grown man cry. George Washingtons, John Adams, and Thomas Jeffersons are a mite harder to raise than Bill Clintons.

Men, do right by y'alls sons and daughters. Dere be hard days ahead!

Here is something I found and really agree with!!

One important thought here: A person’s IQ or education level has absolutely nothing to do with their perception of reality. Higher education is higher brainwashing. Sometimes it seems that the more education, the bigger the fool.
People are obsessed with believing what they have always believed without question. An inquiring mind is required for anyone to question long-held views.
Here are some examples of conventional wisdom. This is what most people believe:
  • That government will not lie or allow an economic depression.
  • That history as taught in schools or history books is truth.
  • That pharmaceuticals sell good drugs that aid cures.
  • That vaccinations bring immunity.
  • That people can “catch” disease from someone else — germ theory.
  • That the cure for cancer is just around the corner.
  • When a child is sick, he needs antibiotics.
  • When a child has fever, he needs Tylenol.
  • Hospitals are safe and clean.
  • That drugs are not poison.
  • That doctors and hospitals do not cause deaths.
  • Guns are dangerous.
  • World War I “made the world safe for democracy.”
  • World War II was for democracy to prevail over tyranny.
  • The Korean War was to “contain communism.”
  • The Iraq war was to find and destroy “weapons of mass destruction.”
  • Paper money is wealth.
They have dumbed us down. They rape us daily and we never question their criminal intentions.
We seem to have no memory, no will to resist, no interest in our own fate. And worst of all, we have no interest in preserving Christian morality. The need to conceal evil is becoming less necessary as the American people themselves continue to become more perverted.
The political con game is all about the transformation of human beings to the animal farm. The message must be decoded on our terms — on the basis of our original politics, our original culture, our original beliefs and our original traditions. Unless and until the game is viewed this way, one does not have the tools to keep from being brainwashed. Until then, nothing will change.

Corrected it for you. You really need to get out more; read, think. What you write in your last paragraph is the LIBERAL MANTRA. Our language is English, not Spanish and we should require Assimilation or Deportation (read Muslims & Messicans). Basic literacy; fluent enough to read street signs, driving test, voting ballot. The majority who come here now, come for one thing; FREEBEES. They work the system paid for by people like you and laugh their a$$ off at your simpleton open arms ideas when in their minds they want to conquer and subjugate you to their rules.

Dogface 02-17-2014 05:55 PM

I don't have a problem with LEGAL immigration. I have a big problem with rewarding illegal immigration by giving amnesty. Why should someone be rewarded for breaking the law? And I agree with the post about the "entitlement" state the the government is encouraging. We work hard to provide a better life for us and our family then they take 40+% and give it to those too lazy to work. It's gotta end sooner or later. If the wealthy (who the others hate) quit working where is the give away money going to come from?

eman 02-17-2014 06:07 PM

Who would have thought a coke commercial would bring on the end of society as we know it.

The power of advertising.
