"holy toledo" - 4/17-20
 

Well another descent weekend at Toledo . Didn't catch a bunch but boy did the size make up for lack of amount. Started Thursday out with 2 small ones in morning then around noon my luck changed. Pulled up to a point and bam 7-9 lber . Fought her all the way to the boat and reached down to grab her and she shook off. I was inches away. Heart break. Well moved to next spot and bam - caught a 5-11, 5-8, and a 4-8 within like 20 min. Caught 4 more that afternoon. Decent day. But the one that got away... Would of been my biggest ever.

Friday
 

Well morning started slow so moved to another spot bout 8. And wasn't there 10 min and rolled my bait by a log and slam I thought I was hung she was so big. I couldn't move her. She came to the surface and almost shat my pants. She was whoops my azz. Went under the boat and jumped on other side. Geez I was gonna loose this one to. Well finally got her to the boat and lipped her. RELIEF!!!my biggest bass ever. 9.84. Left to go weigh her so I could release her. Came back later and got 2 more bites. Another 2 studs. These were 6-8, and 6-11.

Saturday kinda of a busy. Trying to catch anothèr big one. Managed just 4

Left the bass and tried to look for some pirch. Never tried on Toledo before. Managed 11. Few nice ones.

You did better than me and everyone I talked too. I was trying to find the sacalait and only caught about 12 for 3 days.
