Been working on tweaking the opening night color just a bit. Let me know what you think.

We can get it done if enough people want it. This specific color change has not been run yet, so let me know as we still have time for additional changes.

LaAngler 05-07-2010 10:38 AM

i would add the chart tail

I would say no to the chartreuse tail.........If trout wants chartreuse throw chartruese .dont mess up that bait..... Opening night is just what it is..... you dont add chartreuse to the tail...if you do so then you just changed the bait....

mikedatiger 05-07-2010 11:49 AM

Mr. Calcasieu Kryptonite has spoken. Axed the chartreuse tail - buy some glow dip...

I would like it with a chart tail for big lake and without for GI.

I have to place huge minimum orders ($$$) as these baits are custom runs. If the demand is high enough in the future we'll run them, but we're already working on a new color run for a local guide.

"W" 05-07-2010 01:24 PM

Guys........adding chartreuse to every bait is stupid... Opening night is made for clear water on sunny days or light clouds..... You dont need chartreuse

you would be fighting against a color

I'd order em if they had the chart tail. I'm all about opening night but I want that chart. tail, it makes the difference.

soon as you can get em produced, PM me and I'll order some.

:D well I'll start with a couple starter packs, then pending on how they produce, I'd get them frequently, but I dont foresee them not producing. so itd prolly turn into my go to/ most thrown lure

 sorry but thats about the worst logic I ever heard of. just because a fish likes a chart tail doesn't mean it wants a whole chart bait. the simple adage of chartreuse to the tail, can entice more strikes depending where you fishing. I know I've had much much better results from baits with a chart tail. Can throw a chart bait and not get a bite. opening nite/chartreuse tails are the hottest color on lake P(most of the time). if you don't want chart tail, then don't order it, but don't try to ban production just because you don't want it.

Make em both and let the customers decide for themselves

thats cheaper said than done:D

FF_T_Warren 05-12-2010 03:33 PM

well that may be the case, IDK about production cost of baits. but thats the only reason I haven't ordered any yet.

FF_T_Warren 05-12-2010 10:41 PM

I wouldn't buy 100 at a time, but I would definitely load up on em

FF_T_Warren 05-12-2010 10:42 PM

How bout a few to try out then if they work, I'll buy a bunch. kind of like a beta tester kinda thing

my thoughts from the word go, I been asking about these for about a month and a half or so. I just hope they make em. may replace my dudleys. but without the chartreuse tail, I'm sticking with the dudleys
