Ethanol Free Gas Station List

Figured this would be helpful to alot of people. As most of yall know I work in the marine business, ethanol is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Use 100% gas!! Pay for it down the road if you don't! http://petelandrysrealgas.com/ If you want to make sure the gas you are buying is ethanol free they sell test kits for pretty cheap http://www.fuel-testers.com/product_gas_alcohol.html

Yeah its ridiculous....E15 will also require new tanks, pumps, ect at the gas station.

SULPHITE 03-15-2011 11:06 PM

Most manufacutres of small engines like weedeaters, blowers, etc won't warranty the engine on their products because of the overwhelming number of problems that ethanol has casued...

Dink 03-15-2011 11:07 PM

Ryan, I didn't look at the list, but I know of 3 here in town......guidry and Johnson, hwy 92 and verot, lastly willow and thruway

Gotta be careful of some stations though, false advertising. We tested a few pumps that did not have the ethanol sticker...some had OVER 10%!! The fuel up at johnson and guidry USED to be non ethanol....that is the station I used alot since its a few blocks from my house. There are stickers on the pumps now. The reason the stations are using e10 or more is the damn feds give them a 45 cent a gallon tax credit. Sorry BASTARDS! :pissed:

Dink 03-15-2011 11:14 PM

Some don't have stickers(chevron near ground Patti on Johnson) others have big banners saying no ethenol.......that's the ones I'm talking about

If they have ethanol in the tanks they have to put the sticker. If not they can be subject to a very heavy fine.

is it still real gas?

makes me sick now to think with gas nearing 4 bucks, the price your paying for those few gallons of ethanol, my truck runs smoother on regular

Dink 03-15-2011 11:29 PM

Bruce, not to mention all the times I put ethenol in the boat not knowing that station was right there on the way to intercoastal and freshwater city!

It was untill now, went there the other day now its ethanol. My oldschool throttle body injected motor hates that crap. I get almost 4 more mpg on regular fuel. The ethanol blended fuels loose the octane much quicker.

joshdomingue 03-16-2011 06:38 AM

i was looking at the list in my area ..... most of the ones that are ethanol free are also American owned ..... which is the only ones i go to anyways!!!!!

I do get better gas mileage in my truck with ethanol free...

BayBolt23 03-16-2011 10:04 AM

Yeah Stop 92 on the corner of verot & 92 is ethanol free.

Montauk17 03-16-2011 10:38 AM

Read the articles on that site about the truth of ethanol....it will piss you off.

meathauler 03-16-2011 11:20 AM

I spoke to a conoco store owner and he told me that the conoco/philips refinery does not blend E. Most of the conoco stores I see in LC are E free.

speck25 03-16-2011 06:48 PM

I read through the no ethanol list on the website. The one in sulphur at the brookshire bro. 47 know has ethanol. I was there last week just to fill my boat up and they know have a 10% ethanol sticker on the pumps.

just a heads up if anybody goes there

This is correct. But will change in the future. The government will mandate ethanol be added to all sale able gasoline grades.

It is required to have the stickers posted that at the pump. Even if the gasoline does not include ethanol.

Gerald 03-17-2011 11:54 AM

FYI..... in Lake Charles.

I have been getting my boat and lawn equipment gas from the store across the street from Prien Lake park. I filled up there tuesday for $ 3.33 a gallon .....no ethanol.

Cormies Grocery was $ 3.39 a gallon.

LaAngler 04-02-2011 01:24 PM

i started burning the fuel from verot/92 conoco

truck runs smoother and the tank lasts a little longer

Big Ridge 04-10-2011 09:12 AM

Thanks for the list, seems most of them are Conoco brand. That works for me.

weedeater 04-21-2011 10:52 PM

if you are brave enuff to stop i saw today in gossport (the hood north of lake charles) there is an old shell station by the old triangle bar that just put up a no ethonal sign

booyagasha 04-22-2011 06:20 AM

not sure how legit, in HOUMA, theres a non-branded gas station outside the tunnel on the East Side , East Side TUnnel Express , i think the name, pretty cheap gas---but has a sign on every pump---100%gas No Ethanol.....

Are you talking about the Tobaco Plus store?

I have been using that station for a few months. Only problem there was one night the pumps were only pumping about 1 gallon per minute, and my truck was low on gas. I stopped pumping after about 10 minutes.

Gerald 04-23-2011 12:52 AM

If you are looking for some 100 % gas in Moss Bluff.........go to the Philip 66 on Hwy 171 about a mile north [on West side] of the light.

bassfisher39 07-12-2011 07:27 AM

The one at the thruway and willow now has ethanol.

wtretrievers 07-12-2011 07:42 AM

For any of you BR, DS & Walker guys the Old BP in Central across from the Middle school has E free gas.

southern151 07-12-2011 09:49 AM

Gonzales folks. Last time I was out that way, Chip's north location on Burnside(HWY44) was no ethanol and now, the old Mobil station on the corner of Worthey and Burnside has ethanol free gas available.

kbaudoin 08-15-2011 09:18 AM

charlies ,after the perry bridge on the left is supposed to be ethanol free

kbaudoin 08-15-2011 09:19 AM

also i heard the texaco bulk plant on port street in abbeville, and h&d food mart on charity next to the snapper store

Top Dawg 08-15-2011 01:45 PM

How bout a list of American owned stations. Good luck findin one. This is bad. Here in westlake I think out of 6 stations 1 is American owned. And we also have a pak-a-sak

josimon 09-24-2011 11:47 AM

Any ethanol free in New Iberia?

Slidellkid 09-26-2011 10:41 AM

The Tiger stop (I think that is what it is called) in Oakdale has non-ethanol gas. They are the last gas station on the left as you head north out of town. Owner's name is Jody. Gas is expensive there but if you are looking for non-ethanol that is the place.

primeaux 09-26-2011 07:50 PM

Dales service station just south of Maurice, and Gulfway in Kaplan I think is ethanol free

spotsurfer 09-26-2011 08:04 PM

Billy"s in Pecan Island sell"s it & he has everything else you mite need.

speck cc 11-03-2011 10:28 AM
