Who is your favorite football team and why are they your favorite? (kind of sounds like an essay ?):confused:

Saints cuz they kick @$$!

but why?

LSU because I grew up in the greater Baton Rouge area and I have great pride for the state of Louisiana and all of the schools in this state. LA people and culture are like no other destination in our great country. LSU and the Saints are both a part of the culture of our state which is very different than most states but common in the south. After all, I am a southerner by the grace of God.

Yep I am an SELA graduate. LSU is happy to take my money every year as is SELA.

So you did not attend Choklahoma university?

BTW, my favorite team is WHO EVER IS PLAYING LSU....why- because of the W type fans that lsu has.

Well mine is the SUPERBOWL XLIV CHAMPION... Been a fan for as long as I can remember.

whoa salty...... asr's book of rules section 4 chapter 7 verse 71 clearly states anyone who didn't attend college is not a true fan....therfore you are not allowed to comment or follow any sports team........:cry::cry:

Texas... cause I have family that teaches there and my sister went to school there.... and i couldnt stomach being a ULM fan

25 years ago then, that was a sugar bowl season. I know, you think LSU never played in a bowl game until 2001. Of course you are wrong but we are all use to that.

Graduated from ULL. Not a football fan. Not a fan of LSU whatsoever. Never was. Just like some good ol aluminum bat smashing from college, only cause I did it too.

I counted around 12 since 1950 only counting bowls that are current BCS bowls plus the cotton. This would be from 1950-2000, 1987 to 2000 were the dark ages with no "major" bowls.

So you like the old Gorilla ball LSU teams with Mouton, Larson, etc...

ULL has a very good baseball tradition, nothing wrong with that.

Don' tell any of those Texans that you bring on your boat that you do not like football, they might have some questions for you. ;)

Those guys from the 90's just plain crushed those little white pills. We had some good ballplayers at U La La.

Yes you did, ULL could play with and beat just about anybody on any given day.

BD did you play on the 1999 team.....I think that was the best team ULL had even though they lost to RICE in the super in 3. I was living in Htown then and went to all 3 games in the DOME.

Negative. That was the year I graduated high school. Went there in 03 and 04 after 2 years of Junior college. The 1999 team was awesome.

I'm not a fan- guys on here wouldn't let me- said I didn't go to school in Dallas so I do not qualify. Actually more a fan of the PAST Boys. Tom Landry era. Can't stand J Jones.

Hey I really liked the Cowboys of the 70's. Tom Landry is a legend...and once Tex Schram sold the Cowboys to Jerry Jones and fired Landry...the lowly Saints were it!! Archie Manning Days!! I guess that ordeal w/ the Cowboys scared me as a kid...and I never pulled for them again!!;)

Favorite team.....LSU Fighting Tigers...grew up listening to LSU games on Saturday night on the radio, went to my first game when I was 10 years old, been going to games ever since, I'm 57 years old now. Seen some great games at Tiger Stadium, best one was LSU vs. USC in 1979.

was at ULL 00-04 as well for football...Cajuns all the way...then Bama. Father, Grandfather, Uncles, cousins etc all graduated from U of A..so thats all I knew growing up in the "dark ages" of LSU football when the circle K stores had welding hats and pro baseball team hats instead of LSU gear post 2003......

You never forget your first visit to death valley. I was only seven years old but I remember everything about that game. I remember how electric the atmosphere was and I knew there was something special about night games in Tiger Stadium.

Me either...when I was 10 or 11 my grandmother, grandfather, mother and dad were "tigerbaited" flicked off, just a to name a few gestures walking to the stadium...but it was all quiet after Bama won at "home away from home" ;)
