I may have posted this on salty, I know I did on TD. My grandfather inherited a nice piece of land on bun****s and we've put a little ole FEMA trailer on it. He said they hunted it when he was a young man but he hasn't had any connections over there in a looong time.

Anybody hunt/fish it? Somebody hunts it bc there are some high dollar blinds out there....should be some feather busting going on this fall. I'll be building a blind about the middle of next month.

Had to put dashes bc I was censored by the admins I guess. They don't like the common word for the male genitals.

Hey Jordan do yall catch many fish there

there is alot of stumps there becareful. and alot of birds sometimes.....just be careful if you get to close to someone things tend to spontaniously combust over there..

Sounds like Big Lake minus the stumps unless you count short stumpy midgets:smokin:

If my blind mysteriously catches fire there won't be any thing but stumps and burnt frames in that lake. Just ordered a crap load of treated lumber for that bad boy.

The burnt several last year. Just warning you. I feel the same way

Let's hope it doesn't come down to that. I plan on putting it a good ways away from them fellas any way. If anyone wants to hunt that way this year let me know. I'll most likely hunt the entire 2nd split bc I'll be on break from classes. (if my blind don't get burnt down, lol)

Build you a false bottom in it and stick a few cans of black powder in it, they will only burn it one time then they ain't gonna want to fool with ya agin, if they can:cool:

That's an other thing. Don't mess with stuff on the river.. and when you here some people whacking them, don't show up on that same hole 30 minutes earlier than them the next day. Had that happen so many times by topwaters it wasn't even funny.

Knew a guy last year was out with his brother, pulled a dudes spark plugs because they were in his hole.. :rotfl:

He's talking about his deer lease.

yep I have 400 acres on west fork that I deer hunt, hog hunt and if it goes right I am gonna duck hunt the 3 ponds I have out there.

UPDATE!!

So my grandfather just called me to tell me that the blind he hunted out of when he was a kid is still up and in the same place. We inherited it with the land. So screw building a new blind and finding a new spot on the tiny lake and probably pissing some people off. Im gonna be hunting a blind that has been there since 1974. Gonna do some updating and add a dog ramp and blind for my Mutt. Best news i've gotten all year.

First few weekends of big duck season was pretty good kinda hit and miss .. then I had surgery so I didnt hunt the rest of the season

Cool. I'll most likely miss most of the 1st split because of school. The 2nd split will be a different story, class gets out the week before it kicks back up. I'll be staying in our camp the whole split....lord willing
