So you wanna fish alot..

91 days fished this year (6+ hours on the water to count as a day)
$3,032.21 gas(just gas)
$549 in oil

1 LIFE TO LIVE!!!!!!

Montauk17 09-09-2011 11:41 AM

I would love to fish that much. Gotta split my funds between hunting and fishing. Can't seem to give up one for another.

Armand16 09-09-2011 11:43 AM

must be nice

evis102 09-09-2011 11:43 AM

This is true. I just feel like I get so much more from fishing and I have not been much of a killer since I watched my Great Dane die.

BIRD DOG 09-09-2011 11:47 AM

Sounds like it should have been more than that!! I spend that in my truck goin to the camp! Its all good though, what would we do without it?

That equates to roughly 10 gallons of fuel per trip.

evis102 09-09-2011 12:12 PM

250XS Mercs sip gas

Purple Back 09-09-2011 12:16 PM

When I was attending McNeese, I was putting up numbers like that...........a wife, 2 kids and house note later. Probably only put about 30 days on the water this year. :(

"W" 09-09-2011 12:19 PM

Does this include the "700 on topwater in July"?

Lets see I fished 16 days in July

695 Trout were put in the Ice chest

All I fished with was TopWater all month long

47 of my tags were used
Chris R used about 30 of his tags with me one day...

and A few days we caught and released trout for hours..

So yes i would say that 700 on topwater was in those numbers

Hey, I just thought I'd ask. Don't get so defensive. You act as though I don't believe you.

evis102 09-09-2011 01:19 PM

I should just knock someone up so I can have a kid. I will never ever marry. As far as fish count I'll never tell unless we at a weigh-in for a Tourny

My next motor will be a 300xs or Honda 250. Mainly depends on if the Honda is out when I sell my boat.

Kenner18 09-10-2011 02:55 PM

I ran around 60 or more miles yesterday on 18 gals of gas . 150 opti on 21 nautic star.

BayBolt23 09-10-2011 04:16 PM

Gonna have to say you lie Dont think they make a motor that gets 5.6 mtg. If you wanna prove me wrong im down for whatever day, place, time..

BayBolt23 09-10-2011 05:12 PM

Boom

"W" 09-10-2011 05:15 PM

How much u got on that?????

"W" 09-10-2011 05:26 PM

Actually I just calculated it on my phone again....

Its 5.372 on 43 gals....

And I know this....Because I saw it...JJ went from Hebert s to the 3 in a row rigs which is almost 25 miles one way...so 50 miles round trip or maybe farther by time you add the other running for reds on the way back....he was on full.....fuel guy was topping all the boats off....he filled JJ up and he burnt 14 gals...
