Boy Jordan would smoke the ducks to get them hard heads

BudMan56 11-11-2011 08:27 PM

I think what you saw was schooling mullets. At first glance they look lie catfish.

1fastmerc 11-11-2011 08:30 PM

Nope. I have a video of them just can't figure out how to put it on here.

That's right!!!! Tell 'em to take a back seat because you driven this bus now!!!

weedeater 11-11-2011 09:14 PM

you should see them at nite, they have a light shining on the water and people feeding them so that whole area is solid fish

Some big reds & drum are caught in that channel all the time.

Right at dark they had one of hardest incoming tides I've ever seen.

That boat is back. They have a big drum tied up to the back of the boat.

Those hard heads will eat anything you throw in the water. My son & daughter were feeding them Chips from the Cadillac Cafe a couple weeks ago.
I've seen quite a few people catch some nice drum and reds in the channel. Also saw some kids tied up to a piling on the Boardwalk murder the sand trout one summer using live shrimp w/ a splitshot rig.
