David Christian, the owner of LMC Marine and a site sponsor was fishing over in Big Lake on Friday and caught this 31 inch trout. Nice job David.

I am sure Casey knows for sure, but just trying to confirm.

Either way it is one heck of a fish.

Its a real nice fish...........post the link you found it on....

That back ground sure dont look like Big Lake but if it is...its only 3 places It could think it would be with long banks of brush

Didn't find it on a link - HT Series posted it on Facebook… this is what it read.

from HT - "Well I asked if fish are still biting where you are... I guess David Christian answered that as well in south Texas…"

But it sounds like Casey talked to him, so maybe it is Big Lake

Well Casey the boss man has spoken and he definitely said BL so the HT caption was a bit misleading!

ckinchen 01-02-2012 08:06 PM

Big lake I talked to him today, he had lunch at a camp not far from mine then went back out that afternoon. The trout was caught around 4:00.

Exactly!! Can't people just post about their catches they are proud of, on forums, without all the scrutiny?

"W", would you stop with the "conspiracy" stories and enjoy the pic of a awesome fish caught in our back yard!

troutwhisperer 01-02-2012 08:21 PM

That's a good one. I waded a couple hours and didn't get a bite. Threw top for a little bit and nothing. Water was 61. I may have been in the wrong spot but I was just lookin for the one bite like that

If you post it with a back ground....its all fare for the study:D

Potlicking would be trolling up to him and setting anchor while he was pulling it in......

ckinchen 01-02-2012 08:22 PM

W, don't be mad a Texan came over and caught a fish bigger than your boat has ever seen. Just be happy for him, he is a good guy.

W is a great fishermen and a better fishermen than I will ever be, just giving him a hard time.

As far as the fish, one of our site sponsors and my client caught it, they would not lie to me. They caught it in big lake around 4:00 in the afternoon on Friday. They plan to fish the area again next week and asked that I not disclose the exact location.
