Me and my friend Dan went early this morning and got on some real big fish. A memorable trip!!!
All fish were caught in about 2ft. of water on suspended baits- Ribbon fish and mullet were in the area and so were the big fish! |

Mike, YOU SUCK!!!!!!
Good Job! Been busting my hump but just cant get on 'em, seems like everywhere I go with good water & lots of bait is loaded with gafftop!:pissed: Keep it up brother:cheers: |
Good job I hope to get out there real soon and bust some myself. We been working on our boathouse now for several months and it is getting old, but trying to get finished before the fishing really heats up. I guess the flip side is when we are done we will have a nice facility to park boats and clean fish.

xspeck, i told bonsack to come boatride with me one day so i can put the icing on the cake in the waypoints folder of my garmin!
|
Ha ha, funny.
Bonsack probably would turn on me, in a second I would not be surprised... There were 12 boats around us on Friday, no secret where we were. I watched two boats both throwing popping corks catch 50 trout each over about 3 hours. We only caught 2 fish during this time and both were mules. Those guys saw us catch that last one, which was big, and I walked all the way back to the boat holding the fish in the water there was three boats sitting there waiting to see her.. Boats Boats and more boats, got to say most people around us were curtious-- |
just went and bs'd with him for a while, i might try and head over there next weekend, wish i could bum around during the week like some of ya.
i'm ready for that shootout, we are gonna hit the lauberge du lac pool party thursday night, maybe we can have a Saltycajun captain's night there!!! LOL then pre fish friday june 5..... |
