Input and Suggestions Needed
 

OK, I'm looking to spend a little time developing this site, so let me know what you'd like to see here. What I'm looking for is:

1) Forums - Let me know if you'd like to see a forum added to address a new topic that doesn't currently have its own forum. If there is enough interest, it will happen.

2) Links - Let me know if you'd like to have certain sites or information linked here, or contained within this site and I'll see what I can do.

3) Functionality - Let me know if you have an idea to make something easier to use or would like to see additional functionality added.

4) Colors - Let me know if you'd like to see a theme other than the purple/gold. If enough people request a particular color scheme, I'll make it happen.

5) Content - If you like something that another site has that this one is lacking, or just have any suggestions or comments, let me know.

Please keep this thread on topic. This is the place to help make SaltyCajun the best site available for Louisiana. ;) Suggesting people to ban in order to make this a better site is not what I'm looking for. :p

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post your opinions or request publicly.

And feeding times, even though they don't work very well.

I like the weather and tide too, maybe you could throw up one of those investment forums since all you guys over at the ST are making money hand over fist.

Hey saltycajun members how do I post a report. I haven't been able to post only reply. Maybe someone could be nice enough to give me step by step directions. I still post on the other site because there setup is easy for me to post on. Maybe I overlooked something on this one but I have never seen where it says click here to post.

Something elso to think about adding: when we get emails saying someone "has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Input and Suggestions Needed - in the The Camp (Everything Else) forum of Salty Cajun Forums." maybe you could also put what their reply says. I'm on the road alot and it's hard to pull up the internet every time a new reply is posted. It would be alot easier to be able to read the reply in the email on my blackberry then connect to the internet and reply if I want.

Longhorn colors. This yellow and purple theme is terrible. That must be Louisiana Monroes colors.

I used to have it set that way, but I got tired of receiving everyone's replies to thread and PM notification emails in my mailbox because they replied to the notification email instead of logging into the forum to reply. I got to read some pretty interesting conversations when people replied to PM notifications, though. :p
